Toddler Tuesdays Return to Oatland Island

Oatland Island Wildlife Center has been closed to the public for a few months after they were hit by an EF-1 Tornado at the end of July, but we are pleased to share that they will reopen on a Very limited basis with the return of Toddler Tuesdays!

The popular program will start back up on November 20th so bring your littles to one of the two programs to celebrate Oatland's farm birds just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday!

Toddler Tuesday is an action packed program designed for toddlers 1 to 4 years and their adults. This is a time for adults to bond with their toddlers while engaging in hands-on activities that promote development and acquiring age appropriate skills. Activities may include reading story books, singing songs and finger plays, crafts, games and up close encounters with Oatland’s animal ambassadors.

If you and your little are planning on attending any of the upcoming Toddler Tuesday programs, you will need to register in advance for one of the time slots available by clicking here. Each program time slot is limited to 15 participants and please, please attend if you register since there are so many looking to participate in this program.

The program fees for Toddler Tuesday are

Non members is $5 per child and $5 per adult

Friends of Oatland Member $5 per child and 2 free adults

Due to the conditions along the trails, the rest of the grounds are still not open to the public at this time. Thank you for your understanding!
