At Oatland Island Wildlife Center
Sunday, April 28th, 2019
1:30pm-3:00pm
We are very proud to present Friends of Oatland Island's new lecture series!!
When you’re talking about scientific classification, bats, snakes, and opossums don’t have much in common. But they are all wonderfully beneficial creatures that provide invaluable services to natural ecosystems and human communities. Unfortunately they are also among the most misunderstood of animals – routinely feared as aggressive, dirty, or dangerous.
Join FOO in welcoming Gail Westcot from the UGA Mary Kahrs Warnell Forest Education Center as she demystifies these misunderstood creatures that call the Georgia Coast home.
